Strengthen Institutional AI-Readiness
Equip institutions with training and support to launch AI initiatives
The AIM-AHEAD Program for Artificial Intelligence Readiness (PAIR) aims to enhance AI readiness among institutions across the nation.
To accomplish this, awardees of the program receive training on how to effectively leverage AIM-AHEAD resources to initiate AI projects, advance health research through improved grant writing skills, and foster collaboration with AIM-AHEAD by establishing institutional connections with AI/ML Health Research Labs. This approach is intended to generate knowledge that will contribute to the success of AI initiatives.
Equip institutions with training and support to launch AI initiatives
Support institutions in developing competitive research proposals and advancing innovative AI projects
Connect institutions with experts and partners through the AIM-AHEAD Consortium to advance AI/ML solutions in health research
Developed for institutions and organizations facing challenges related to limited AI/ML infrastructure and resources, PAIR has strengthened foundations for sustainable success in AI/ML health research at numerous awardee institutions nationwide.
Through the implementation of a two-phase funding model, PAIR has connected awardee institutions from across the United States with AIM-AHEAD resources, AI/ML and health experts, and grant-writing coaches to help establish AI/ML Health Research Labs which host cross-disciplinary teams for research projects and grant writing.
